Our vision is a community where each individual is provided equal opportunity, support and resources to live a self-directed and meaningful life.
Kahumana Learning Center provides holistic and outcome-based disability services across community, work, and home settings to people with developmental disabilities and autism. We work together to support participants' personal interests and goals to get the most out of life.
We offer a variety of services to those with disabilities. With an emphasis on making each day meaningful, we work together to give holistic services that produce outcomes, fostering abundant living for all who participate. Our participants work alongside dedicated skills teachers and members of the community for a truly integrated and fulfilling experience.
Kahumana Learning Center
Leeward and Windward Day Programs (ADH) and Personal Assistance Services (PAB)
The Kahumana Community and Farm is the home base for Kahumana Learning Center’s Leeward programs. There, our organic farm, café, commercial kitchen and retreat center provide fully integrated settings, as well as rich social and vocational opportunities.
We also offer a program that is fully integrated into the vibrant commercial, social and community life of Windward Oahu. The campus of St. Christopher’s Church, near Kailua Park and Kailua Town, is our home base for pre-vocational training, life-skills, continuing education and other tailored programs based on individual need. The town of Kailua offers many volunteer, vocational, recreational and social opportunities.
