Kahumana manages 13 affordable housing units at Kauhale Kamaile and 3 on Halona for homeless families with the mindset to become independent and self-sustaining. Tenants are expected to maintain their homes, pay rent on time and work towards bettering their future under a property manager that has compassion and understanding for their circumstances.

The units were built by the City & County of Honolulu to address the need for affordable housing on the Leeward Coast. Our affordable housing residents are referred to us through the State Coordinated Entry System based upon unit availability.
